Foundation Everlasting Parenthood
Support after baby or child loss should be within reach for everyone

After the loss of a baby or child, the right support can make a real difference.
But not every parent has the financial means to pay for professional support themselves.
Foundation Everlasting Parenthood helps make that support more accessible.
Through donations and gifts, the foundation can help parents who have lost a child and who would otherwise struggle to afford the support they need.

Why Everlasting Parenthood?
You never stop being their parent
Everlasting Parenthood means exactly that.
When a child dies, parenthood does not end. Love does not end. The bond does not simply disappear.
And at the same time, there can still be a future. A life in which your child remains part of your family, while there is also room for you to live.
Foundation Everlasting Parenthood was established on 4 December 2025 in memory of Jasmijn, Tom and Tim.
Their lives are at the heart of this foundation and of Desirée’s wish to create something lasting for other parents after loss.
What does the foundation do?
When money stands in the way of getting help
Sometimes you know that support could help, but paying for it simply isn’t possible.
Foundation Everlasting Parenthood can provide financial or practical support to parents who do not have sufficient access to guidance after the loss of their child.
The foundation can also support awareness, knowledge-sharing, projects and research around baby loss.
What support can be funded now?
We are starting small and practical
The foundation does not need to do everything at once.
At this stage, financial support is focused on Dutch-language support in the Netherlands.
The foundation can currently contribute towards:
Ruimte voor Leven na Verlies
Group support led by Desirée van Nieuwenhoven for women after the loss of a baby or child who want to make room for life again, alongside their loss.
Miskraam Meegemaakt
Support provided by Tessa for women and parents after miscarriage.
Each request is considered individually. Support is never automatic, and the foundation looks at what is appropriate and financially possible.
Asking for support
Do you need support but cannot afford it yourself?
If you have lost a baby or child and the cost of professional support is stopping you from getting help, you can contact Foundation Everlasting Parenthood.
We will look at your situation, the type of support that may be suitable and whether the foundation is able to contribute financially.
At the moment, funded support is available in the Netherlands.
Donations
Help another parent access support
Perhaps you know from experience how much the right support can matter after loss.
Or maybe you simply want to help another parent who does not have the same financial options.
A donation to Foundation Everlasting Parenthood helps make professional support available to parents who would otherwise struggle to afford it.
Online donations will be available soon.
A foundation with its own purpose and responsibility

Foundation Everlasting Parenthood is a separate legal organisation with its own board and social purpose.
Donations are used to support the aims of the foundation.
When the foundation considers funding support provided by Desirée’s own business, she does not take part in decisions where she has a personal financial interest.
Together, we can make support more accessible
Losing a child changes a life.
Good support cannot take that loss away.
But it can help someone find a way to carry what happened while slowly making room for themselves, their family and their future again.
Foundation Everlasting Parenthood wants to help make sure that money is not always the deciding factor.
