FREE FOR YOU
Sometimes you just need something that helps.
Not another appointment.
Not another thing you have to work through.
Maybe you want to listen.
Maybe you want to read.
Maybe you simply want to hear someone put words to something you recognise.
Here you will find free resources for parents living with the loss of a baby or child, and for the people who love them.
Take what helps today. Leave the rest for another time.

START WHERE YOU ARE
What would help today?
There is no right order.
Choose what feels useful now.
A moment with your child
Sometimes you do not need words.
You may simply want a quiet moment to pause, breathe and make room for your child.
This guided audio gives you a few minutes to do exactly that.
Nothing to solve.
Nothing to explain.
Just a moment for you and your child.
Something practical to hold on to
Grief can make even ordinary days feel unfamiliar.
This free guide is for parents who have lost a baby or child and would like a little practical support along the way.
Not a method.
Not a list of things you should be doing.
Just ideas you can use when they help.
I want to understand how to be there
Someone you love has lost a baby or child.
You want to be there.
But perhaps you are afraid of saying the wrong thing.
This guide helps partners, family, friends and colleagues understand what can help, what may hurt and why remembering still matters long after everyone else seems to have moved on.

GUIDED AUDIO
A little space for what is still there
Love does not disappear because your child died.
And sometimes it feels good to make room for that love without having to explain it to anyone.
I created this audio for the moments when you simply want to stop for a while.
You can listen at home, on a walk or whenever you need a little space.
No expectations. No right way to feel.
LISTEN TO REAL STORIES
Sometimes someone else says exactly what you could not put into words
In When Motherhood Takes a Different Path, parents speak openly about the child they miss and the life that continued afterwards.
About miscarriage and stillbirth.
About losing a baby or an older child.
About relationships, work, pregnancy after loss, anger, guilt, laughter, love and the strange moments nobody warned you about.
Every story is different.
And sometimes that is exactly what helps.
Not because someone has the answer.
But because you recognise something.
FOR FAMILY & FRIENDS
You do not need perfect words
People often become quiet around grief because they are afraid of getting it wrong.
So they say nothing.
They stop mentioning the child.
They avoid important dates because they do not want to “bring it all back”.
But parents do not suddenly forget.
A name remembered can matter.
A message on a birthday can matter.
Asking instead of assuming can matter.
You do not need to fix grief.
You can simply keep showing up.
WATCH & LISTEN
Short conversations. Honest thoughts. No polished grief story required.
On YouTube I talk about baby and child loss, parenthood, relationships and finding room for life again.
Sometimes in longer conversations.
Sometimes in just a few minutes.
Always honestly.
Because life after loss is rarely neat.
And it does not have to be.
WHY I CREATED THESE RESOURCES
Because I remember searching too.

I am Desirée van Nieuwenhoven.
Mother of Jasmijn, Tom and Tim.
After my miscarriage and the stillbirths of Tom and Tim, I looked for words, stories and something that made me feel less alone.
Over the years I discovered something I could not yet imagine back then:
You can miss your child deeply and still love your life.
That does not take anything away from them.
It does not mean you have forgotten.
It means love and life can exist alongside loss.
That idea runs through everything I create.
Take what helps. Come back when you need something else.
Maybe today you listen.
Maybe another day you read.
Maybe you send one of these resources to someone who does not quite know how to support you.
There is nothing here you need to finish.
And there is no timeline you need to follow.
Your child can remain part of your life.
And there can still be more life ahead.
